Room cleanliness left much to be desired!!! The confusing access to rooms and lack of fridge bothered us!!! Additionally, the overpriced food and subpar service at the spa were a letdown!!!

The patio door situation felt a bit off since the decking was not entirely private and might leave you uneasy if you wanted to keep it open. Only having a shower available was a letdown for a lake view room, especially without prior notice to request a bath. I encountered issues like a fridge running too cold, freezing the complimentary bottle, and missing fixtures in the bathroom—waiting for rails to be fitted felt like a lack of foresight. The lighting options were too bright, and having to deal with a malfunctioning poolside shower and Jacuzzi jets that didn’t quite deliver on relaxation made the spa experience less inviting. Dining at the Boat House was disappointing as the food lacked flavor and I received a starter instead of the main I'd ordered.

Spent 2 nights by the water and really enjoyed the peacefulness. The room had a nice view, but it felt a bit dated. Breakfast was on point, and I loved the buffet style! The staff were friendly, but phone service was frustratingly slow. Perfect spot for a retreat, though!
